| March 16, 2006 This is a set I made by making a
swirled stringer of red, black and ivory, and then putting random
stripes and swirls of that stringer onto ivory beads. |

| March 16, 2006 I'm taking a class in April, and I need
to practice my stringer and dot control before then, so what better way
to do it than making fun bumpy beads? |

| March 16, 2006 I just picked up some 'dip and etch'
from the Vinery, and played with etching beads today. Today has been a
busy day. |

| March 15, 2006 This is a bracelet I made from soda
beads -- beads that I rolled in baking soda, then encased. The baking
soda bubbles and fizzes, and when the glass cools, you have thousands of
teeny tiny trapped air bubbles. |

| February 2, 2006 Made my first lampworked star, it
measures a hair over 1 1/4" across. Also played with making hearts.
Valentine's day IS approaching after all. |

| January 27, 2006 Played with making twisties today,
which I'll use to embellish beads |

| January 10, 2006 More cows, plus a spring set
I made several technicolor cows, then after I annealed them, I popped
them into my pocket with a bunch of other beads and my keys to
stress-test them. The ears popped off the red guy, but other than that,
they survived just fine (well, unless you're a red cow). Next time I
make them, I'll make extra sure the ears are on properly. |
