Handmade Lampworked Beads

There's something almost spiritual about sticking a glass rod into a flame and watching it start to glow. If I'm feeling stressed or anxious, if I've had a rough day, if the cat threw up on the white carpet (which I swear I'm going to get rid of soon), just sitting down at the torch fixes everything.

Click the links to the left to learn a bit about how beads are made, to see a gallery of beads I've made, to find out how to order or where to find my beads (or me), and other fun stuff like that. I primarily make sets of beads, which are available directly from me, or through some of the local bead stores. I also make one-of-a-kind sculptral beads and pendants, and a few marbles. I enjoy making bead sets from a quiet meditation point of view, but every now and again, my kookie nature will pop up and I'll feel the need to make some sheep or slugs with eyestalks or something equally silly. I have a webcam which is up very sporadically, depending on whether or not Chris has changed the firewall settings and if I'm organized enough to trek the laptop with me out to the garage.
