Elizabethan Beaded Trim and Costume Accessories
Here's where you can find the perfect beaded trim, aiglette,
billiment, chain, or other costume accessory. If you don't see it
here, please ask. If you have a picture or portrait you're trying to
duplicate, send me a web link, say 'I want that necklace!' and I'll
let you know if it is something I can do. Yes, I do custom work. Yes, I do
custom sizes, if you need 2 inches or 22 feet of beaded trim, just let me
know.

Lots of shapes, colors, and sizes. If you want something to embellish
your bodice, edge your cuffs, or even wear around your neck, try here. Did
I mention that I do custom work? If you have something that you need
matched, send me a link or mail me a snip, and I'll do my best. |

Aiglettes
These can be used in your hair, on the ends of your cords and ties, at
the edges of slashed sleeves, or I can make a pair into earrings. I can
make sets of 1 or 100 or more, and again, I can match your costume. For
examples of aiglettes in use, check out Gheeraert's
portrait of Queen Elisabeth (the pearls in her hair are aiglettes) or
Charles de
Solier, Lord of Morette by Hans Holbein, c. 1534-35 (he has aiglettes
where his sleeves are slashed) and Margaret
Audley, Duchess of Norfolk by Hans Eworth, 1562 (her sleeves are
covered with pairs of aiglettes).
I can match your costume. Click here
for an example of how it would be done.
Many kudos to www.tudor-portraits.com
and the Web Gallery of Art,
who I have gone to again and again for Elizabethan and Tudor portraits. |

Have you ever wanted to be able to hang your fan or pomander from your
belt with a bit more style than a bit of cord or a strip of leather? Try
these beaded chains. |

Arrrrr matey! Every pirate prefers properly piratey pretties! |

And a bit of Chainmaille
Well, one needs to have chainmaille. We make ours from hand-wound and cut aluminum links, some of which are either anodized or enameled for a nice range of colors. Chainmaille, it's not just for people anymore! Click either picture for a larger view. |

Other Stuff
The hubby makes very lovely chainmaille girdle belts, and I'm working
on beaded pomanders, and possibly a very teeny tiny girdle book (I have an
idea, I just haven't tried it out yet) |
